Those are a Pack of Lies on Mr. Mugo; Says Bishop Herzog

The following is a reply I received from Bishop Herzog from New York, Pastor Mugo’s Bishop whom he practices his license under;
My Dear Brother and Sisters in Christ,

The allegations from Promise are a pack of lies. Here are the facts:

1. Rev. John jailed by INS for working while a student;

2. $10,000 required by the INS for bail;

3. On June 22, 2009 a harambee was held and $4900.00 was collected, of which 35 members of Saint Matthew's donated $2400.00. That $4900.00 was put into Saint Matthew's account;

4. On June 28 the Mercy Ministries Fellowship collected an additional
$2500.00 for the purpose to secure an attorney for Rev. John Mugo. The
collection was placed in Saint Matthew's account and the attorney was paid;

5. An additional $1500.00 was also given to a second attorney;

6. On June 24,2009, $10,000.00 was removed from Saint Matthew's account and given to the Senior Warden, Peter Kanyiri to send to INS;

7. Peter Kanyiri sent $10,000.00 to the INS with his name on the draft
instead of Saint Matthew's;

8. When the case was dismissed the INS sent a check for $10,000.00 to Peter Kanyiri since his name, and not Saint Matthew's, appeared on the original draft;

9. The refund should have been deposited in Saint Matthew's bank account and not
placed in Peter's personal account since that is where the money came from;

 10. Peter Kanyiri, on his own, decided to send Saint Matthew's money to six
Churches;

11. Presently, three of these six churches have returned the money to Saint
Matthew's account;

13 Rev. John Mugo did not and is not seeking funds for himself nor has he
requested meetings with any of the Pastors. He wants the money to be returned
to Saint Matthew's Church. (see attached email dated November 9, 2010)

  1. Bishop were you there to do the count of 35 st. mathew members?. I am sure you did not get that from mugo because he was in jail. what is your interest here?. this is 2011, and muthungu with a funny hat will not scare us. This is African matter. We did not see you when raising the money, and hell we do not want to see you now......stop the colonial mentality

  3. with all due respect, Bishop i think you have been misinformed,,, as a member of st mathew i gave 50dollars i wish not to have my money given to Brother John coz he may use it to enrich himself. your pastor has had many issues with money its a high time he seeks God and he should stop being a hypocrite he knows for sure that the money came from the people so it belongs to the COMMUNITY to help others in need...you admit that you did not contribute any money and st mathew did not have money either,, its only fair you reconsider your involvement

  4. That is white people for you. They think just because they are white .... they know everything. I was in that house during the meetings, I know we were many but I could not have missed a white brother. Where was he with the funny hat when we needed the funds. Ino ni Mbari ya kinyukia Njoe.... na ya karia nime!!!

  7. Look here Mr. White Head, As i read what you say, Kanyiri did not even keep the money. he divided the money to all churches equaly. st mathew, upendo, neema Pastor Tonis church and the remaining 1730 went to that side kick of mugo called hilda.that's what they told us in church on sunday, but of course you were not there you were in the country club playing polo. And Hilda, if you would spend more time with your personal issues and less on other churches, ungiri na muthuri. Ndurona riuu wina mbuii mutwe!! enough

  13. And the white man has the nerves to say that they were 35 st. Mathew members who raised the money? is he nuts. And on the issue of mugo banging that lady from mackiney, I remember there was a day they went to meet the Bishop in New York just BOTH of them, Pastor and Tresurer,and I assume that this crooked pastor booked two single rooms!.Is there any sane person here who believe that MUGO; a its complicated marriage status to travel with a woman without her husband or another female or male official to new york for two days and not screw her? Wazee tumewazwo mbao na hii bunda! I am sorry to say, I feel bad I left Ngubia's church. The man could preach, although the wife has serious self absorbed spotlight on her issues. This place ya mugo yani, we do not know what to fix coz yenyewe the leadership is broke. Yenyewe mugo njua Mungu anakuona tu. I remember Kanyiri crying in church mazee when he was talking how you are in jail.... and you sued him..... enyewe you need to apologize, that's all men I have to say.

  14. I am not from your church, but its sad a pastor can do this. This is the solution. Mugo, STEP aside. Let the treasurer who was there then use a power point from statement ya bank and show the church how much was there when you got arrested, add what the bishop says hilda put in, subtract what lawyers and other expenditures, then refund what was not yours by dividing to all other 4 churches. They will let you safe face, plus you plant a seed of reconciliation. And don't forget to withdraw the law suit. That's how I would do it. Ohh and stop screwing the Assistant Treasurer, that's big I think.

  15. I agree, you are one of the few sensible posters with a sense of how to resolve it. Mugo, for the love of mankind, put someone we can trust to do the math, with a reliable source we can trust. We know you can *&#k up the spread sheet, so we want someone to log to the church online account. Its our money so you have nothing to hide.Scrow to the day you were arrested and we work from there.If you are right, we apologize, if you are wrong, Ubatizwe tena na tuendelee. And of course zip up your pants. Enyewe I know the wifo is in Kenya so its hard, but don't do it too wazi that watu wamaona. and as he says withdraw law suit.

  16. Came'on people, give the brother a break. He has been here for like three years now, the wife is not here and he surrounds himself with divorced women. If its consensual, enyewe, mugo i would not through the first stone. I think they "assist" mugo in good faith, they know the brother is hurting.But the issue about the Mackinney sister, well I cant be able to help him there. There are many divorced and single ladies in the church. Wachana na wa wenyewe.

  17. Mugo, law suits everywhere, kenya, lawsuits, immigration, lawsuits, kanisa lawsuits. *&k man, stop and look yourself in the mirror. Do you really love what you see???

  18. As Mr T & Allan Aaron said " Bible Mkononi Matendo opposite, wamevalia sura za Christo tuu na wito wa kifari....Upendo wa lips, Hoa ni bweha kwa ngozi ya kondo." Listen to the song in youtube and you will get a better understanding.

  19. we will all be in court. Where is that demn court date. I am coming with all my people. The truth must be told. Mugo dont try to withdraw this lawsuit. We want to know where all this money going around came from. I remeber contributing mine in st. matthew morning before going to Tony church fund raising. Many people from other churches were there too. Now, was it the right thing to refund the money to the churches OR is't wrong because nobody ever done this before????. If its the right thing to do, should it be a tread from now on? if its wrong, what should we do to prevent it from happening again in future? confused!

  20. The churches that received checks should be the first to testify in court if their members really came for the harambees. I remember seeing Ngobias people in there too. Alex and his comrades came. I remeber Hildah Kahia asking every represented church to do a short prayer. Alex represented Trinity. Do you guys remember this shit?

  21. Ok help me out, Mugo already has 1700 * 4 from the 4 churches. If my math is correct, that is 6700. Shouldnt he be suing for the remaining. or how do you guys do it in US. We are following it in Kenya too, we have a pastor doing the same here. We thought those things do not happen in US

  22. Mugo is known for this kind of stuff. can you research for us a law suit he had in kenya and post those documents. I heard that he had sued his bishop. You can get this documents from High court archives.
    The owner of this blog should rename it to mugowikileaks.

  25. Every one of us will have times when we are criticized, sometimes fairly, but more often unfairly, creating stress in our hearts and minds and tension in our relationships. Somebody at work or your social circle speaks negatively about you or blame you for something, trying to make you look bad,or blowing some minor incident out of proportion. Usually, your critics have no interest in helping you; they are simply trying to drag you down.
    Advise to all; FORM BETTER HABITS; say this in you heart
    .......I will examine my daily routine and identify any habits that are affecting my life negatively. I determine today that I will begin to break at least one of those negative habits and replace it with a positive habit instead........
    TUPENDANE BROTHERS AND SISTERS. Dont be happy on someone else down fall. you never know about tomorrow.
    BLESSINGS

  26. hi there, who are you preaching to? I thought your pastor is the one who filed the case in court. You seems to be making sense, preach on sunday and tell him to sit down. I suspect that he will shed crocodile tears to get members sympathy

  27. instead of talking, critizing others, using obscene words or payukaring, i think i have a solution.just as the our wazees united under the muigwinania, the kenyan community in dallas needs to set up a Baraza la wazee, say eleven members .These wazees should make a kamukunji and summon the people involved. we need to settle mambo ya nyumbani kenyan style.if the parties dont agree, then the courts should decide. am neutral and can offer myself kama mzee.Hope mugo/ other parties read this.
